[Abk. für Running Computer, dt. »beweglicher (laufender) Computer«] der, Organizer in Form einer Armbanduhr, der seit 1998 vom Hersteller Seiko angeboten wird, bislang allerdings nicht in Europa. Das etwa 70 g schwere Gerät verfügt über einen 16-bit-Prozessor, 128 KByte RAM, zusätzlich ROM- und Flash-Speicher. Es wird über eine Art Steuerknüppel sowie über berührungsempfindliche Zonen des Bildschirms bedient. Der Ruputer bietet: Termin- und Adressenverwaltung sowie Notizfunktionen. Über eine Docking Station ist Datenaustausch mit einem Desktop-Computer möglich.
